Instructions for Speakers in the Main Conference
This page recaps instructions for speakers only in the main conference (i.e., related only to Monday 12th afternoon and Tuesday 13th July):
- instructions for authors of long research papers
- instructions for authors of short research papers, Work-Shop (WS) organisers and Doctoral Consortium (DC) students in the main conference
- contacts, for each type of speaker in the main conference.
Long Paper Authors
Each speaker of a long research paper is granted a 15-minute presentation slot, plus 5 minutes for questions. Their presentation is mandatory.
Presentation Constraints (for Physically-Present Speakers)
Upon arrival at the registration desk in Bolzano, speakers need to contact Rosella Gennari or Marilena de Marsico.
They will be instructed about how to upload their presentation in the room computer for all presentations.
Presentations must be in either pdf or pptx format.
Due to organisational constraints, unfortunately, it is not possible for speakers, who are physically present in Bolzano, to use their own computers for presenting.
Zoom Meeting (for Virtual Speakers)
Zoom meeting will be used for sharing presentations.
In order to use Zoom meeting for virtually attending the conference, virtual speakers must use the same account they used upon their registration for the conference. In case needed, see how to create a Zoom account at https://zoom.us/signup.

Short Paper Authors, WS Organisers and DC Students
In the main conference, each speaker of a short research paper, WS organiser and DC student will
- present a poster, with questions,
- deliver either a 5-minute presentation (in case of authors of short papers and workshop organisers) or a 1-minute presentation (in case of DC student), both without questions.
Instructions for Posters
A1 portrait posters are shared in dedicated poster sessions, within the main conference. Each poster session is organised in hybrid format:
- with printed posters, to be discussed in Bolzano with physically-present attendees,
- with virtual posters, to be discussed on Gather Town with virtual attendees.
Every speaker, who is physically present, is expected to bring her/his own printed A1 copy of the poster at the conference.
Moreover, all speakers (virtually or physically-present) are asked to create their A1 poster in PDF and, possibly, in JPG format (maximum size for JPG: 3MB), to discuss on Gather Town. Physically-present speakers need to use their own headphones and computers to discuss their posters on Gather Town.
